iPad 2 vs. iPad 3

Ok, the hype is growing as we anticipate waiting in line for hours this Friday. We want to be one of the first to own the iPad 2. With the iPad 2 now a reality, it comes with some limitations and imperfections. Steve Jobs, the great magician, gave us what we wanted to see but it's what we didn't see that leaves me wondering.
Contrary to what the rumor mill had been expecting, the iPad 2 has no screen resolution improvement, meaning the iPad 2 is already lagging behind the iPhone 4 and the phone's Retina Display. While Jobs told us how many frames per second the iPad 2's cameras will shoot video, he didn't mention megapixels. Some sources are saying that the camera may be as little as one megapixel.
How much memory will the iPad 2 have? Sadly, we don't know, because Jobs didn't tell us. Could it be because the memory is exactly the same as the original iPad - 256MBs? Or does the iPad 2 have a RAM increase to 512MB? Whichever size it is, the iPad 2's RAM will fall far short of the Motorola Xoom or the HP Touchpad, which both boast 1GB of RAM.
Lastly, I was really looking forward to going wireless when syncing content to my iTunes account. I guess I'll have to hope the iPad 3 will break all wired connections.
It's not all bad, as Samsung announced that they're going to rethink their 10.7" tablet's pricing structure due to the iPad 2's very appealing price. Apple hopes to ship 10 to 14 million iPad 2s in Q2.
I'll be standing in line this Friday. Will you?
