Well, maybe not exactly, but you had to look real close to see it. Here at CA, we've to put a few things together to try and realize where gaming might be headed in the future. By now, you all have heard that the cloud is going to me a major component on how we received our content in the future. Microsoft, Sony, and Apple are all focusing on storing user’s information in the cloud.
New Wii system? No problem.

Multiple sources have been touting that Nintendo is about to reveal its next console at E3 2011. In fact, Nintendo is already showing off the device to publishers in order to give them plenty of time for developing titles. Launch date might be early 2012.

Remember when the Wii came out back in 2006? Everyone from Grandma to little Tommy were going head-to-head in fierce battles of bowling. Then came the Wii balance board, which brought exercise and dance back into the living room. For a few years, the Wii dominated the motion-controlled gaming arena, but times have changed. This past holiday season, Sony sold to retailers 4.1 million Playstation Move bundles and controllers, while Microsoft sold a whopping 8 million Kinects to retailers. Both of these giants finally realized that there is a growing demand for active video gaming.
