Very pleased ! Far better sound then any others I've tried ! Even beat out my Sony Desktop speakers ! Very portable and convient ! 5 Stars !

I own these and the laptop model (CA-9880) and I prefer the latter. These speakers, although powerful for their, sound muffled. The build quality seems decent enough for the price and I like the form factor so I keep these in my laptop bag all the time, just in case.

A very pleasant surprise. The sound quality is obviously not concert-level, but still a damn site better than the built-in speakers. Also, the whole thing seems to be pretty innovative. I'm using it for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and my netbook.

Received a set of CA-2988 for Christmas and they are great. Easy to hook up and produce a great sound! I am very pleased.

Bought them a few days ago and I'm really happy with the sound quality.

Had old speakers, which I was having trouble understanding voices thru. Just happened to be in a store & it reminded me to just see what they had in the way of small speakers. The clerk said he had these & really liked them. Boy was I surprised when I installed them. I should have replaced them a long time ago. I am so happy. The are great & the price couldn't be beat. Bought a set for my laptop they worked excellent , Ex wanted a set for hers she raved , I picked up a 3rd set for my desktop to get rid of another electric cord , no complaints . Great product for the price ( I got them for less off a clearance shelf for less than 1/2 the price ) got lucky and scored 3 nice sets of speakers .

Loud and good sound for their size. Would be much better without all the cable clutter. If they made it just run off of USB for power and audio, these would be great. That's the only reason I'm debating whether to keep them or return them in favor of a different speaker. The magnetic clamping for storage is pretty ingenious. Would also be nice if they were a bit smaller, but not sure if that's possible.

Great USB speakers for lap top. I use them with instructioanl videos sound carries through out the room and is understandable. Good Price for a small system

Pros- compact, styling, voice reproduction, carrying pouch, easy to travel, Music at low volumn, and price. Cons- music at > 50% o volumn, sound becomes muddy.

If you're looking for affordable 'free standing usb powered' speakers for your notebook, you can't go wrong with these. The quality exceeded my expectations for the price.
