Bought the CA-3090 because I was looking for a set of speakers for my laptop for working at my desk at home. I had a set of earlier CAs that weren't bad but the quality of sound, fit and finish of the CA-3090s are exceptional, especially for the price.

I received these today,on schedule. Setup was very easy and the volume-turn dial looks gorgeous with the blue LED's. These speakers sound beautiful for their size. I can even hear sounds in Trance and Electronic music I wasn't able to hear before. It has a dedicated Bass Control Knob on the back of the subwoofer. Overall, for the price, these are amazing speakers with great bass and total quality sound. If you are looking for top-notch professional sounding speakers, these may not be the best choice for you. BUT, if you have a nice little pc setup like mine, this is all you may ever need. The build quality is decent, made of plastic, just be careful and you should be just fine. I borrowed my sons for my computer and wow! I don't mind getting stuck watching a movie on the computer such great sound. even makes a bad You Tube video sound awesome!

I am listening to them as i type this. It has deep bass and has a long-throw 4 inch subwoofer. Tweeters crackle a bit, but that is because they are new and breaking in. I purchased the Gigaware radioshack knockoff (radioshack merged with cyber acoustics) to make one with exchangeable grills on the tweeters. I am a huge fan of this company and own the old 26-watt gaming series 2.1 from 2005 and am still satisfied with it. I purchased this on my birthday, and am completely blown away. It shook my parent's coffee table from my room. At half volume. It is not very loud, unless you want the sub to distort in the box (yet again goes away after time) but it can go past 81db and well beyond. If you want long-lasting quality for an incredible price, get these. By the way, the sub is small. It is 16 watts. Best place for it is a clean floor next to a wall. I've only used these speaker for a few days, but they are awesome! I don't need a super loud speaker, but these get pretty loud without the sub sounding terrible. I'm having a problem getting the speakers to work without my iPod touch plugged in though, but haven't looked into it much, going to right now though. Great speakers, I suggest them!

I love the sound of this system and want to connect it to my LCD television. Is there any way to do so?

Very nice design. They are awesome and I am loving the bass control option. VERY reasonably priced.
