Two Types of Noise-Cancelation
The HS-1500BT II features two types of noise-canceling technology. Can I use this headset while charging and connect to both a computer and phone?
Yes. The HS-1500BT II can charge via USB-C while in Bluetooth mode, or switch to wired USB mode by disconnecting Bluetooth. It can stay connected to your computer via the USB-C dongle while also paired to your smartphone, making device switching seamless.
How do I switch audio between my computer and my phone?
When the headset is connected to both, press the Call Button once to switch the active audio between the two devices. If a call is active on your phone, end it first. Pressing the Call Button during a phone call will end that call before switching to the computer.
Why won't the device pair after it's turned back on after automatically powering down?
If the HS-1500BT II is not connected to a device for 15 minutes, it turns off automatically to preserve battery. To reconnect, power the headset back on and press the button on the Bluetooth dongle once to reactivate it.
How long does the battery last, and can I use it while charging?
The HS-1500BT II offers up to 20 hours of battery life in Bluetooth mode and can be used while charging through its USB-C port, so you are never forced to stop during a call.
How do I check the battery level?
Quickly press the Multi-Function Button two times and the headset will announce the current battery status.
What is the difference between ANC and AI noise cancellation?
On the HS-1500BT II, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) reduces background sounds you hear through the ear cups. AI noise cancellation is a separate microphone feature that removes background noise from your outgoing audio, so the people you are speaking with hear you clearly regardless of your surroundings.
How do I turn ANC on or off?
Press and hold the Multi-Function Button for three seconds to turn Active Noise Cancellation on or off.
How do I mute the microphone?
Rotate the mic boom up toward the headband to mute, and rotate it down toward your mouth to unmute. You can also short press Volume + and Volume - at the same time to mute or unmute, though this shortcut does not work while the boom is in the mute position.
What is the Busy Light and how does it work?
The Busy Light on the earcup signals to people around you that you are on a call or busy. It flashes red for an incoming call and stays solid red during a call. You can also toggle it on or off manually by quickly pressing the Call Button two times when you are not on a voice call.
How do I use the HS-1500BT II as a wired USB headset?
Connect the headset to your PC or Mac with the included USB-C cable, then press the Bluetooth button on the headset three times to switch to USB audio mode. While in USB mode, the Bluetooth dongle and phone connections are disabled. Press the Bluetooth button three times again to return to wireless mode.
What is the wireless range?
Your computer or device should be within about 10 unobstructed feet of the headset to pair and connect reliably. If you have trouble connecting, move the headset closer.
How do I clear the headset's Bluetooth pairing memory?
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the headset for more than 2 seconds to reset the unit and clear all previously paired devices. Then pair the headset again with your dongle, phone, or tablet.

Both are the same stereo wireless headset. The HS-1500BT II-A includes a USB-A Bluetooth dongle, while the HS-1500BT II-C includes a USB-C Bluetooth dongle. Choose the variant that matches the port on your computer.
